The Standard Unit is made from steel with a black powder coat finish. (Image 1 - main image). If you choose to go with the Standard Unit a Bezel in anodised black or silver may be purchased at a later date if required.
For those of you with a Raptor Console or those wishing to upgrade, a Deluxe version is available with an anodised aluminium bezel, available in Black or Silver to match and complement your existing Raptor Console (Images 2 & 3). It is also aesthetically pleasing and gives your gauges a slightly recessed look.

Image 6 - Optional Switch Plate. This is the replacement for the original Switch Plate located down at your right knee in a Defender, available in anodised silver or black. The hole cut-outs are: 31mm height, 23mm width. Please note this Switch Plate is not suitable or available for Carling/Carling Type Switches.

Although this Binnacle will connect to the original Plastic Binnacle Mount in your Landrover we highly recommend the use of the steel Raptor Binnacle Mount.

IMPORTANT READ THIS Around the year 2000 (as early as 1998 and as late as 2002) Landrover fitted both pre and post 2000 Binnacles especially NAS. If your Binnacle has the 2 screws holding the warning light cluster in from the front (arrowed in main picture) you need a pre-2000 regardless of the year or registration. If your Binnacle doesn’t have the 2 screws and the cluster is fitted from the back you need a post-2000 regardless of the year of registration. THIS BEZEL IS NOT SUITABLE FOR THE ORIGINAL PLASTIC BINNACLE
This is a steel replacement for the poor plastic original Binnacle Mount that is split or broken in many Landrovers. Powder coated in satin black to match its surroundings. This component supports the Binnacle which holds the speedometer, gauges and the heater controls in a Defender.
This part has been produced by Raptor due to constant requests from Defender owners for us to manufacture a replacement for their broken one. When we took this part out of our Defender, we were surprised to find how weak the original part is. On removal one of the tabs that hold the Binnacle in place was already broken off and when testing the strength of the remaining tab we were able to break it off between finger and thumb.

The Glove Box is made to the usual high quality Raptor standards from steel and aluminium. The frame is powder coated in black with the choice of black or silver for the aluminium door.
The Glove Box has a vented top so your vents are still functional, letting air flow through the Glove Box into the cab.
Although not a necessity we highly recommend that the Glove Box is fitted along with the optional Raptor Defender Trim Panels for an aesthetically pleasing finish to your dashboard.
Please note the Raptor Defender Trim Panels can only be used if you have the Raptor Dash Console fitted.
Due to popular demand Raptor has produced this two-part dash trim that will dramatically improve the look of your dashboard (RHD).
Many Defenders & S111 have been drilled, cut and carved in the soft facia of the dash. Many more have a bad fit and uneven joint between the main dash and corner piece. This steel trim will tidy the cut out in your dashboard and create a perfect fit up to the Raptor Console and also gives the opportunity to securely fit other items to your dash.
